This is one of the best 1983 recordings that I have heard. I have it on good authorty that this is an audience tape. For 80's technology, it is simply superb but now we compare with the digital age of the noughties! Although black & white, the covers are clear, accurate and attractive - nice one!
After Space Oddity, Bowie says 'Thank you very much indeed. This is our last show in Tokyo and that's a shame. I'd like to thank each and every one of the Tokyo aids, who've made our stay here so very warm and very wonderful, thank you very much indeed. I'd like to introduce you to the members of the band'. After the introductions, Bowie says, ' Now we'd like to show you all the clothes that we've bought. No we'll sing instead'.
