Holy Holy (June 1970) - the
original version recorded by The Hype at Trident Studios, London in Jun 70. This is a mono
mix taken from an acetate.
How Lucky You Are (March 1971) -
recorded at Haddon Hall, Beckenham, Kent in Mar 71. Written for the Hunky Dory album
but dropped and offered to other artists.
Andy Warhol (March 1971) - 'Wake
Up Mr Bowie, we're ready to roll'. A breakdown in communication leads to this aborted
first take during the Hunky Dory sessions in Mar 71.
Looking For A Friend (June 1971)
- this was the A-side of the unissued 2nd Arnold Corns single and features Freddi Burretti
on lead vocals and Ronno on lead guitar.
Man In The Middle (April 1971) -
this was the B-side of the unissued 2nd Arnold Corns single and features Freddi Burretti
on lead vocals and Ronno on lead guitar.
The Shadowman (September 1971) -
a rejected an unfinished song from the Ziggy Stardust sessions in Sep 71.
Looking For A Friend (September
1971) - another attempt at this Bowie original during the Ziggy Stardust sessions.
Waiting For The Man (January
1972) - recorded on 11 Jan 72 at Studio T1 in Shepherd's Bush, London. This is an
unbroadcast mono mix made for BBC Transcription Services AM radio transmission.
Oh! You Pretty Things (February
1972) - recorded for the Old Grey Whistle Test.
Queen B!tch (February 1972) -
recorded for the Old Grey Whistle Test.
Five Years (February 1972) -
recorded for the Old Grey Whistle Test.
White Light White Heat (May
1972) - complete and unedited features ad-libbed lyrics.
Zion (October 1972) - an
unfinished song recorded for the Aladdin Sane album, but dropped in favour of Lady
Grinning Soul. Recorded in New York and part was later used as Candidate on the Diamond
Dogs Album.
All The Young Dudes
(October 1972) - also recorded in New York. Another song dropped from the Aladdin Sane session due to the success of Mott The Hoople.
